FCT Surface Cleaning always prioritises an active involvement in the local community and with the redevelopment of the Bold Park Aquatic Centre the FCT team is currently providing their services to prepare the surface of the new pools.
The Bold Park Aquatic Centre was originally constructed in 1975 and due to its age and wear and tear, the main pool at the centre reached the point where it required replacement. The redevelopment, which is well and truly underway, will see the replacement the old 8 lane 50m pool with a new 10 lane 50m pool as well as a new covered leisure/learn to swim pool, a new main building to house the crèche, a cafe, change rooms, swim shop, pool administration facilities and extensions to the existing carpark facilities.
The FCT team has been using their sandblaster to prep the concrete surface of the Bold Park Aquatic Centre’s pools. Here at FCT we are proud to be involved in this significant redevelopment which is expected to be completed for the reopening in October.
