Congratulations to the FCT team who finished the 100km walk in 28 hours and 34 minutes. This is a great time and was quicker than expected. Unfortunately, not all the team members crossed the finish line with the other team members falling ill and unable to walk with swollen, raw red and throbbing feet.
The team expressed the hardships of the walk being the length of the walk and the pressure on their feet. However they were proud to support such an excellent cause and it was worthwhile for the fundraising and promotion of the world requirements of Oxfam.
Oxfam Trailwalkers WA raised over $1 million by the end of the walk – a fantastic outcome.
